What the number does not say
- Claude Fable 5
- Uses the newer tokenizer, which produces about 30% more tokens for the same text than models up to Sonnet 4.6. Price per token is therefore not directly comparable with older models.
- Claude Mythos 5
- Limited availability. Same tokenizer as Fable 5.
- Claude Sonnet 5
- The introductory $2 and $10 pricing is now the standard price. The increase to $3 and $15 scheduled for September 1, 2026 will not happen.
- GPT-5.6 Sol
- Promotional price from August 21 through at least November 21, 2026; before that it was $5 and $30. Listed for short context; long context is $8 and $30 per million. Regional processing adds 10% for models released on or after March 5, 2026.
- GPT-5.6 Terra
- Short context. Long context is $4 and $18 per million.
- GPT-5.6 Luna
- Short context. Long context is $0.40 and $1.80 per million.
- GPT-5.6 Cyber
- From the Daybreak program. No long-context pricing.
- Gemini 3.1 Pro
- Above 200k tokens in the prompt the price is $4 and $18 per million, and cache reads are $0.40 instead of $0.20. Cache storage is $4.50 per million tokens per hour. No free tier.
- Gemini 3.7 Flash
- This price holds through December 31, 2026. From January 1, 2027 it doubles to $1.50 and $7.50 per million. The cache doubles too: reads go from $0.075 to $0.15, and storage from $0.50 to $1.00 per million tokens per hour.
- Gemini 3.6 Flash
- Same notice as 3.7 Flash: from January 1, 2027 the price is $1.50 and $7.50 per million, with the same doubling on the cache. On price it is identical to 3.7 Flash today.
- Gemini 3 Flash
- The price covers text, image and video input; audio is $1 per million. Context storage is billed separately at $1 per million tokens per hour.
- Gemini 2.5 Pro
- Above 200k tokens in the prompt: $2.50 and $15 per million.
