Bedrock adds GLM 5.3 for approved customers and ships Nova 2.5 Sonic for voice agents
Two model additions landed on Bedrock on the same day. Z.ai's GLM 5.3 arrives with a 1 million token context and a listed price of $1.68 per million input tokens, but only for customers AWS approves. Nova 2.5 Sonic is the new speech-to-speech model, in four regions, at the same price as its predecessor, with no published benchmark. The open source Strands framework made its voice agents generally available alongside it.
