What the documentation does not say
CLAUDE.md, skills, plugins, hooks, MCP servers, custom commands and agents, themes, keybindings, and auto memory do not load, while authentication, model choice, built-in tools, and permissions work normally. That last part is the difference from --bare. Managed policy still applies, so a rule that survives safe mode comes from your organization.
