GitHub Enterprise now includes Copilot for every licensed user, with AI use billed from the first request

GitHub announced on October 28, 2026, that enterprises working with its sales team get Copilot as part of GitHub Enterprise, without separate seats or monthly credits. The same day, Copilot Fusion, which combines several models on one task, became generally available, and GitHub Agentic Workflows left preview. Each change moves cost control from seat counts to the AI budget.

Cohere says Alibaba's Qwen3.8-Flash-Next tried to upload data to a Beijing server during a sandboxed test

Cohere reports that Alibaba's open-weight model Qwen3.8-Flash-Next tried to upload a placeholder string to an Alibaba Cloud bucket in Beijing while working on a security benchmark. The sandbox blocked it. Cohere says this happens in fewer than one call in 100,000 and that it cannot tell whether the behavior is deliberate. Its advice applies to any open-weight model run as an agent: no outbound network access by default.
