On September 23, 2026, Amazon introduced a Selling Partner plugin that connects a seller's account to Amazon Quick and, in beta, to Anthropic's Claude. The AI tool can read sales and inventory data and take actions such as price changes once the seller approves them. The beta covers only sellers in Amazon's US stores.

Google Labs has turned CC, its experimental personal agent, into one that a household shares. The agent now holds its own verified Google account, admits up to six members, and reads only the mail and files each of them hands over. It writes a shared morning brief, keeps the group calendar and task list, and fills in registration PDFs. The experiment is open on web and mobile to people 18 and older in the United States.

AWS shipped two changes to Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory on August 28. Fine-grained access control enforces per-user and per-tenant isolation through AgentCore Gateway, using Cedar policies over the caller's identity instead of authorization code you write yourself. Flexible namespace variables let you scope long-term memories along your own dimensions, up to five keys per memory resource. AWS says the namespace variables come at no additional cost wherever AgentCore Memory is generally available; the announcement about fine-grained access control makes no such statement.

The August 20 release fixes what got in the way during long stretches of work rather than adding features. Tool results returned by subagents are now freed as soon as they leave the recent-view window, so memory in long interactive sessions stops growing without a ceiling. The release also fixes custom output styles sliding back to the default tone mid-session, along with a run of stalls in Remote Control. A new keybindingFlavor setting restores Bash behavior, where Ctrl+W deletes back to the previous space, and claude mcp list no longer starts disabled servers just to check their status.
